Institutional transformations have been an ongoing process largely depending on the demands of societal transformations. Societal transformations take place as a result of changing outlook, technological advancements, International and national policy changes and research and development in various fields and disciplines. These call for a change in vision and mission. Institutions are the main hubs which interrogate the changes and endeavour to make appropriate revisions in order to implement conducive transformations, especially in the business world. Disruptions are happening in every industry, resulting in both job losses and new job creation at the same time. Challenges are not only from outside, but from inside of organizations as well. Changing workforce expectations and the ever-demanding nature of consumers have made the business landscape more competitive than ever before. Creating, shaping and sustaining an organization with a unique DNA of high performance and attractiveness to all stakeholders is a very challenging task constantly addressed by the leaders of contemporary organizations.
