International conference on Organic vs. Synthetic: The Evolution of Natya in the Context of the Green Economy and the Age of Artificial Intelligence

The "Organic vs. Synthetic: The Evolution of Natya in the Context of the Green Economy and the Age of Artificial Intelligence" conference, organized by the Indian Knowledge Centre at Rajagiri College of Social Sciences, will be held on January 10th, 2025, at the Rajagiri Business School, Kakkanad. This interdisciplinary event aims to explore how traditional Indian arts, particularly Natya (encompassing dance, theatre, music, media, design, and more), can adapt to modern challenges like sustainability, artificial intelligence, and economic growth. With a focus on eco-friendly practices, AI's impact on traditional art forms, cultural tourism, and economic contributions, the conference seeks to bridge cultural heritage with contemporary global issues. We invite scholars, artists, and experts to submit research papers and presentations on these themes and engage in discussions on the evolving role of Natya in a rapidly changing world. Selected papers will be published in a peer-reviewed collection. For more details, please visit the official conference website or contact the organizing committee at iks@rajagiri.edu.
