<p><span style="color:null"><span style="font-size:14px"><span style="font-family:Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"><span style="background-color:#fbfbfb">Jains holds a PhD in Finance from IFMR Graduate School of Business, Krea University, awarded in July 2023. His doctoral research was titled &quot;Empirical Essays on the Implied Cost of Equity Capital.&quot; He began his professional career as an Academic Associate at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, where he assisted faculty members in research and teaching. This role helped him deepen his expertise in his areas of interest and gain valuable experience working alongside leading academics and researchers. In addition to his academic work, Jains completed a summer internship at Geojit BNP Paribas Financial Services Ltd., a brokerage firm. This opportunity exposed him to real-time trading and enhanced his understanding of financial markets. He earned his M.Com. in Business Finance from Pondicherry University, where he developed a strong interest in corporate finance, corporate governance, sustainability finance, and financial markets. He has presented research papers at several notable conferences, including the World Finance Conference 2022, the Research Symposium on Finance and Economics 2022, and the SEBI-NISM Conference 2022. Jains has published research papers in well-known journals such as IIMB Management Review, Journal of Emerging Markets Finance, and Investment Management and Financial Innovations. One of his notable achievements is receiving the third-best paper award at the SEBI-NISM Conference in 2022.
