Rise to Glory
Swaying swiftly to and fro,
Entangled in the web of “Freedom.”
Luscious promises altering expectations,
Making hell of the sweet ‘home.’
Insanity clouding the virtue of diversity,
Threatening a world of peaceful co-existence.
Jeopardized under the umbrella of religion.
Manifesting ambiguity of the authentic presence.
Treading the path of prosperity since Independence,
Fighting the imminent hassles encumbering growth,
“Freedom” being a mere word of mouth,
Emancipation a long foregone oath.
Majestic ‘Glory’ engulfed underneath shambles,
Exhorting restoration of historic ruins.
At the hand is the hour of revolution,
Edifice where making a difference intertwines.
Billion cries resonate for a better India,
Envisaging a land teeming with noble ideals.
Building a pillar of justice and respect for humanity,
Will embrace the ‘India’ that is authentic and real.
Rise India or otherwise you march to doom,
Be not afraid: sing for voiceless voices,
Eradicate the prejudices and hatred; ignite all.
Build a triumphant and fearless India to rejoice.
