“The people who influence you are the people who believe in you” (Henry Deummond)
It is not every day one bumps into an inspiring soul. True it is what one seeks to find but, on most occasions fails to find as well and finding an individual that influences you enough to make life decision and evoke strong emotions, well that’s not so common either. However, once you bump into such an individual then you have finally found your supporter.
These individuals come in different form but one omnipresent form of such individuals is none other than one’s teacher. Every individual has at least one such teacher in their lives. The term teacher need not be constrained to just a person who teaches in an educational institution but if an individual broadens his or her horizons, He or She will understand that every person they meet in their lives is a teacher.
On a personal level, I see the manager I worked under as a teacher. A teacher who took me on a joy ride in the corporate world. Her charm and flair reflected on her work and she bubbled with energy and enthusiasm. It was not a surprise that her subordinates loved her. In a similar manner, I also see my parents as teachers. Had they not trained me during my childhood I would not be where I am now.
If everyone thought in this manner, it would be easy for us to understand the significance of teachers in our lives. Once we start understand what they do is the first step to really appreciating all what they do!
