Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies is organizing a Korean musical symphony on coming Monday 17th Oct 2016 in association with InKo Centre. The musical event will be performed by Kyung Hwa You and World Music Ensemble E-Do. E-DO is an ensemble of incredibly talented musicians who combine traditional and contemporary rhythms with consummate ease. The group is led by Kyung-Hwa, You, one of the most acclaimed artists in Korea. Kyung-Hwa, You, who took her first traditional dance class at the age of 4, is credited with reviving the chulhyungeum, an ancient instrument from Korea that was almost on the verge of extinction. Kyung-Hwa, You on the chulhyungeum and janggu (the hour-glass drum) is accompanied by four equally exceptional musicians, Kyung-Gu Lee, Jung-chul Seo, Young-Deok Jo and Youn-Koung. The event is produced by Ms. Sim Jin Yea. This event will help the students and others to know more about Korean folklore. The event is open for all the ardor audiences. Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies is conducting the Rajagiri – EU Film Festival ‘KINOTEKA 2015-2016’ from September 8th to 15th 2015 at Rajagiri Valley Campus, Kakkanad, Cochin. Mr. Ernesto Onestini, Chargé d'Affaires a.i., Delegation of the European Union to India, Deputy Head of Delegation of the European Union to India will be the Chief Guest for the function. Prof. I. Shanmughadas, renowned critic and award winner will be the Guest of Honour.

The European Union has joined Rajagiri in this initiative in order to familiarize Indian students with European cultures. Rajagiri has undertaken to coordinate this entire programme with the view to improve the cross-cultural perspective of college students in Kerala.

The films are a delightful mix of stories of people from different walks of life in widely different circumstances. They reach out to all cultures in a most hospitable way. The stories are charming and sometimes even unsettling. As a first of its kind, Rajagiri is happy to host an event that is truly global in its reach and nature.
